USA market vehicles adaptation to EU market: American Land Rover Discovery 5 2017
As you know, vehicles are imported into Ukraine not only by official dealers, but also by many private companies from various world markets. Vehicles of the Jaguar Land Rover concern are no exception, and origin markets cover almost the entire globe. Thus, in Ukraine you can find cars intended for operation in China, Africa, the United Arab Emirates, Algeria and, of course, the USA, such vehicles require adaptation to the operating conditions of a new location.
Hardware and software adaptation for the vehicles from the USA market

We also activated Apple CarPlay, Android Auto. This system is a very convenient and modern vehicle smartphone synchronization assistant. One of the advantages of the system is the management of applications (calls, instant messengers, etc.) from the screen of the multimedia system, in a mode that is safe for driving.
Adaptive cruise control retrofit on a Land Rover from the USA
Upon customer’s request, an adaptive cruise control system was additionally installed with a distance control function, an emergency braking system and an assistant when driving in traffic and traffic jams.
This feature is useful both when driving on the highway, and in city traffic jams or busy traffic. With adaptive cruise control, driving Land Rover becomes much more comfortable and safer. NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in the USA) states that such options are not a luxury, but rather a necessary modern means of road safety.
Features activation of a forward facing camera system on a vehicle from the USA
Activating features of the stereo camera system will help the driver to get more driving pleasure, he will not need to perform numerous routine actions, for example, turning on and off the high beam lights. Now with the activated AHBA (auto high beam assist) a vehicle that moves in the oncoming lane is guaranteed not to be blinded.
Also, the activation of the forward facing camera features on a car from the USA made it possible to activate the LKA system – lane keep assist feature automatically helps driver keeping the vehicle in the lane, as well as the BSA (CCV) system – side collision prevention (related to the blind spot monitoring system). In addition to the convenience of driving a vehicle, these feauters have a positive effect on safety.
