Range Rover Front seats massage retrofit

Our client contacted us with a request to install front seats massage on his Range Rover 2020 L405. His vehicle is fairly well equipped, the front seats are equipped with ventilation, but for some reason were not equipped with a front seat massage function from the factory. Retrofit the front seats with a massage feature is a fairly frequent service that we provide, because in premium vehicles you always want to get more comfort and luxury.

Preparation for installing a front seat massage begins with ordering and purchasing the necessary parts. Ordering and selecting parts is not an easy job, it requires skills and many years of experience.

To install front seat massage on Range Rover, it is necessary to integrate special massage mechanisms into the back of the seat, install a new wiring, add massage control buttons on the driver and passenger doors, and connect all this to the vehicle’s electronics.
From the factory, the seat massage is installed only in the back of the seats. Massage of the lower part of the seat from Land Rover / Jaguar is not yet provided.

After installing the necessary equipment and connecting the electronics, it is important to carry out software work and “explain” to the vehicle that the massage feature has been installed from the factory. After that, all functionality starts to work fully.

The main function of seat massage is to improve blood circulation and relieve swelling of the back. It is also very nice for relaxing in traffic or when you are relaxing while admiring the beautiful scenery.
Various massage options are available: Rolling, Up, Down, Upper Back and Lower Back. Then you can choose the type of massage: Wave, Pulse, Pulse Duo, Combination, Hot Stone. You can also choose from five levels of massage intensity.
Let us remind you that an additional option for seat massage – Hot Stone is available only with executive class seats on Range Rover. And we can activate this feature on standard seats with massage installed from the factory. When the hot stones function is turned on, the central part of the seat in the region of the spine is heated in parallel with the massage.
After selecting the massage program, it will be valid for 20 minutes, if you want to continue, repeat the massage.
