New Range Rover L460 Front Seat Massage retrofit for Comfort and Back Health

Recently, a regular customer came to us who became the owner of a new 2023 Range Rover L460. Unfortunately, this vehicle did not have a front seat massage feature from the factory, which seemed inappropriate for a vehicle of this class. Thanks to our experience in retrofitting Land Rover and Jaguar vehicles, we were able to help the customer resolve this issue.

After receiving the order, we quickly ordered all the necessary parts for installation of the front seat massage. In performing any retrofit work, our company only uses genuine parts, original JLR software, and equipment.

The installation process included the following steps:

1. Removal of the front seats and upholstery to access the internal components.
2. Installation of massage components in the appropriate seat zones and connection to the vehicle’s electronic system.
3. Assembly of the seats and returning them to their place in the vehicle’s cabin.
4. Adjustment of the vehicle’s software to control the new massage system.

After completing the software work, a factory additional seat massage menu appears in the PiVi Pro infotainment system.

Thanks to the installation of the front seat massage, the customer gained a significant increase in comfort during long and urban trips. The front seat massage system offers various types of massage, such as wave, pulsation, double pulsation, combined mode, as well as a unique “hot stone” feature (available only for certain types of seats). The user can choose the direction of the massage movement (rolling, up, down, upper or lower part only) and 5 levels of massage intensity. These parameters can be adjusted individually for each front seat passenger.

In addition to comfort, the front seat massage has several health benefits. It stimulates blood circulation, reduces muscle tension, and promotes relaxation. As a result, the driver and front passenger will feel less fatigue during long trips and will be able to better focus on the road.
